Bobby Cousineau has jumped out to an early (and commanding) lead in the '08 Pro Series standings with a heat and feature win at the Kars Winter Carnival.

    2 PAVED TRACKS ON THE 2008 SCHEDULE

Ontario Demolition Derby is proud to announce that the Maxville Fair demo will be on a paved track this year.  For this event, as well as Rockland, we will be allowing double tires....and neck braces.

THE ONTARIO DEMOLITION DERBY POINTS SYSTEM WAS A NEW AWARD CATEGORY FOR 2007.

AFTER THE FINAL RACE OF THE SEASON 2 CHAMPIONS WERE DESIGNATED FOR EACH OF THE MAIN SERIES; THE PRO SERIES AND THE 4 CYLINDER SERIES.

IN ADDITION TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP CUP, THE RECIPIENTS ALSO RECEIVED A PERSONALIZED COAT, A CASH AWARD, AND ENTRY TO THE 2008 LAND OF LAKES CHAMPIONSHIP IN KINGSTON

NO, A DRIVER GETS ONLY 2 POINTS FOR REGISTERING FOR ANY OR ALL OF THE EVENTS IN EACH CLASS AT EACH VENUE.

IN THE EVENT OF A TIE, BOTH DRIVERS WILL RECEIVE THE POINTS FOR THE POSITION THEY TIED FOR.  FOR EXAMPLE, IF DRIVER "A" AND "B" TIE FOR 1st IN A HEAT, THEY BOTH GET 4 POINTS.  THEN DRIVER "C" WILL ONLY GET THE POINTS FOR 3rd

A SINGLE HEAT EVENT IS AN EVENT WITHOUT QUALIFYING HEATS (LIKE MOST 4 CYLINDER EVENTS).  GUYS MAKING A RUN FOR THE 4 CYL. CHAMPIONSHIP SHOULD CHECK OUT EVENTS THAT HAVE A 4 CYLINDER HEAT AND FEATURE, LIKE NAVAN AND KINGSTON

The 2008 Rules and Regulations package are now available.  There are slight changes to specific areas concerning door plates, door and trunk patches, and tracks which permit doubled tires.
